- Log in to your account
- Click on “Offers” on the top nav
- Search for “TurboTax” or “taxes” in the search field at the top of the page
- If the Amex TurboTax discount is available, click on the TurboTax logo
- Use their affiliate link for up to a $20 discount on online products

We just checked to see if the American Express TurboTax discount is available this year, and we can’t find it in our Amex Platinum account. As you can see, a search for TurboTax on the American Express website yielded no results:
So, I have to assume that American Express is not offering the TurboTax discount available this year, but don’t fret! The AMEX TurboTax discount is the same savings as the featured offer promoted by numerous TurboTax partners including Chase, BoA, Schwab, and even tax blogs like Mighty Taxes.
So, in other words, TurboTax gives their partners all the same offer who all brand it differently. The more important thing to consider is that the discount is better early in the tax season, and starting March 1st, the price of TurboTax increases.
